Practical Training in C & I



We are an ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, BS OHSAS 18001:2007  Certified Company providing engineering services to various industrial sectors like Power Plants, Chemical & Petro-Chemical Industries, Refineries, Paper Plants, Sugar Plants, Cement Plants – in short various types of process industries in the field of “PROCESS CONTROL INSTRUMENTATION”. 


2 – 3 MONTHS training program in PROCESS CONTROL, INSTRUMENTATION & AUTOMATION will be imparted in our Training Division CHEMIN - IIM (CHEMIN INSTITUTE OF INSTRUMENTATION MANAGEMENT) Puducherry. The training is well structured and practical oriented based on the actual industrial needs.  Our training ambience is well equipped with latest training facilities and training classes are handled by qualified and well experienced faculties.


After successful completion of in-house training, candidates will be appointed as INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEERS (PROBATIONARY) and will be posted to any of our ongoing project sites anywhere in India within three months from the date of completion of the in-house training program at our Institute at Puducherry.

 We give below the details regarding our TRAINING cum PLACEMENT program with salary package etc..

 1.   TRAINING :-


Training duration will be 2 – 3  MONTHS in our institute at Puducherry.


During the in-house training at Puducherry, candidates have to make their own arrangements for accommodation, local conveyance and food. 


On selection, candidates will be appointed as MANAGEMENT TRAINEES and have to undergo  2 – 3 MONTHS in-house training at Puducherry.  During the training, candidates will be eligible for an Internship amount of Rs.7,500/- per month  (Rupees seven thousand and five hundred only). 



Within three months from the date of successful completion of in-house training, candidates will be posted as INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEER (PROBATIONARY- I YEAR) in any one of our on-going project sites anywhere in India for a period of ONE YEAR from date of posting at project site.  During this period of  1st year, they will be eligible for an approximate CTC (Cost to the Company) Salary which varies from Rs.13,000/- to Rs.14,000/- per month, based on the location of the project site.   


From the date of posting at project sites, besides salary, other benefits like PF, ESI, Bonus, LTA, Gratuity, Safety Shoes & Allowance, Uniform (after one year),  Local accommodation, Local conveyance at site will be provided by Company. Workmen Compensation Policy coverage will also be provided at project sites.  After one year, candidates (who are not covered under ESI) and their parents / spouse will be covered under group Mediclaim Insurance.    


After successful completion of one year at the project sites, candidates will be designated  as INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEER (PROBATIONARY–II YEAR) for a period of ONE YEAR with an approximate CTC (Cost to the Company) package which varies from  Rs.17,000/- to Rs.18,000/- per month based on the location of the project sites & performance / leadership qualities.


On successful completion of two years of service, candidates will be promoted as INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEERS  with further growth opportunities to become Senior Engineer, Dy. Manager, Manager,  Sr. Manager, DGM,  Sr. DGM,  General Manager etc.



Travel & Refreshment Expenses will be provided by us to travel from Head Office to the respective project sites.


FREE group bachelor accommodation with other CHEMIN team members.& local conveyance at site will be provided by CHEMIN.


Food expenses (Mess - dividing system) at Project Site shall be borne by the candidates. Subsidy for  food / tea/ coffee will be provided by us as per the Company norms.




PF  -  Employees’ contribution of 12% amount from the Internship / gross salary will be deducted  and remitted to the respective PF account along with equal amount of employer’s contribution.


ESI – Employees’ contribution of 1.75% (applicable at HO / Site) from Internship / Gross Salary will be deducted and remitted to ESI along with 4.75% as employer’s contribution.                                                                                                                                      



Bonus @ 8.33% of the Internship  /Salary (Basic + DA + HRA) amount will be paid before Diwali festival.                                                                      

6. LEAVE :-


During 1st year, candidates will not be eligible for any leave.  During the Probationary period, they will be eligible for 16 days leave. After successful completion of two full years of service, they will be eligible for Casual Leave (8 days), Medical Leave (8 days) & Earned Leave (14 days) as per the company rules.


For the work on Sundays & Holidays either Compensatory off during the same month or compensatory salary for those days of work will be paid.



Minimum 30 days notice period is required before resigning from our Organization. On failure, service certificate / relieving order will NOT be issued. 



On Selection, candidates will have to pay the Refundable Security Deposit of Rs.2,50,000/- (Rupees two lakh & fifty thousand only) as follows :-


            1st Installment of Security Deposit               : Rs.1,25,000/-  

            2nd Installment of Security Deposit               : Rs.1,25,000/-   


If the Security Deposit is made in a single payment of Rs.2,50,000/-  before commencement of training,  a  discount of Rs. 5,000/-  (Rupees five thousand only) will be given. 


Demand Draft is to be taken in favour of CHEMIN C&I PVT LTD., payable at PUDUCHERRY or NEFT / RTGS can also be made (details will be provided later).


The total Refundable Security Deposit amount of Rs.2,50,000/- (Rupees two lakh & fifty thousand only) will be refunded as per the details given below :-


a)     The full refundable security deposit will not carry any interest.

b)    The refundable Security Deposit amount of Rs.2,50,000/- (Rupees two lakh & fifty thousand only)


will be refunded from the 6th year of services onwards  @ Rs.50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand only) per year till the 10th year of service by the Company subject to the candidate not availing any leave on loss of pay.


If leave on loss of pay is taken upto 90 days, the eligible Security Deposit amount will be returned as per the schedule given below :


i)       Upto 15 days leave on LOP  - will be returned after  6 months from the date of eligibility


ii)      Upto 30 days leave on LOP – will be returned after 12 months from the date of eligibility


iii)     Upto 45 days leave on LOP – will be returned after 18 months from the date of eligibility


iv)     Upto 60 days leave on LOP – will be returned after 24 months from the date of eligibility     


v)      Upto 75 days leave on LOP – will be returned after 30 months from the date of eligibility 


vi)     Upto 90 days leave on LOP – will be returned after 36 months from the date of eligibility


    If leave on loss of pay exceeds more than 90 days the Security Deposit amount will not be returned to the candidates.


c)     Candidate is not eligible for refund of Security Deposit if he resigns and leaves the job on his  own, absconds or terminated by the Company for whatsoever reason.


d)    If the candidate is unable to carry out the jobs continuously due to health / weather / language problems / homesickness, the company  will not be responsible for further placements and he is not eligible for refund of Security Deposit.



(MALE Candidates)  B.E/ B.Tech – Engineering Graduates with ICE, EIE, ECE, EEE, Chemical Engg and M.Sc Graduates with Instrumentation Technology, Applied Sciences, Electronics, Physics are eligible for this Training Cum Placement program. 


Candidates who have NOT PASSED are NOT eligible to attend the training.

     Interview / Training Commencement Date will be intimated to the short-listed candidates later.


After the seminar, interested candidates can purchase the Personal Memoranda (Application) Form by paying Rs.100/-  The filled-in form with all required documents should be submitted on or before  Thursday, 31st January 2019.


To and Fro Charges, Conveyance, Boarding & Lodging will NOT be paid for attending the FREE Seminar, written test &  Interview.
